Joseph was born in Montebello, California. His father of German descent and his mother from Bogotá, Colombia introduced him to the arts at an early age. He began writing, drawing and painting at the age of seven. At La Salle High School he performed in the musicals of “West Side Story” and “Godspell”. He attended the University of Southern California where he took Art, Music, Writing and Drama classes. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. |

He followed that up with a documentary, "Seniors and Alcohol Abuse". The 16mm film was shot in four days with a skeleton crew and was the Official Selection to the American Film Festival in New York. It is distributed by (RPL). |

Joseph has completed a film that was shot entirely in North Carolina. “When Autumn Comes” is a haunting tale about a young married couple whose relationship begins to crumble when the husband loses his job and they’re forced to move into his mother’s house with tragic results. He is involved as a member of the American Film Institute, National Association of Latino Independent Producers and the Writer’s Table. He received a nomination for International Man of the Year 2000 by the International Biography Center and is currently in the publications of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
